Addressing Industry Gaps:
revolutionizing sustainability assessment

B-ABLE, an Italian consultancy firm specialising in sustainability, contracted us to develop a web platform that is both easy to use and comprehensive, allowing companies to assess their level of sustainability.

Existing solutions are time-consuming and provide limited information. Recognising the need for a new approach, we set out to develop a platform that simplifies the assessment processes, extending its scope to the entire supply chain and not just the individual company, providing a detailed analysis of its suppliers' sustainability and risk levels.

This change aims to empower companies to make informed decisions that positively impact their sustainability performance and that of their supply chain partners.

Our journey to create the SML platform was characterised by meticulous planning, consisting of rapid design iterations and continuous feedback loops with B-ABLE, culminating in field testing with 50 separate companies. This rigorous approach ensured optimal usability and performance, exceeding user expectations.

Leveraging cutting-edge technologies Vercel offers, we built the platform on the NextJS framework and PostgreSQL database, offering the client a scalable, reliable, high-speed platform.

Its modular architecture further enhances its adaptability and future extensibility, allowing B-ABLE to add new assessment tools with ease positioning the platform as a reference hub for companies to assess their supply chain.
